Level 2 Art and Design

You will be set a final major project at the end of the course, which will be externally moderated to determine your grade. You will be given a range of projects during your time with us to prepare for this.

You could go onto your next steps in terms of further study, such as a specialised apprenticeship or a Level 3 course. You can also start your professional career in the art industry in a diverse range of creative fields.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

At the end of each year, your work is displayed in the College’s annual exhibition. We also organize community art shows which help grow your skills and enhance your learning outside of the classroom.

There are a variety of trips including museum visits, art exhibitions and artist talks, where you will meet other local artists and continue to grow your network.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find additional opportunities that are right for you.
