My Experience

Alfie, Level 2 Computing

“I have been interested in IT since I was younger and wanted to become a games designer. My uncle completed an IT course here and recommended the College. When I started the course here, I loved it. The teachers and students are very friendly, and everyone helps each other out in class. I enjoy the networking side of things; it’s really fun as it shows you how data is sent from one computer to another. It is great to learn IT skills because the world is going down the route of technology.

The course has given me the knowledge and passion to go out into the world and help people with their IT problems. During my studies, I took part in work experience at my uncle’s IT company and got into the technical support side of IT. In the future, I would like to become an IT support technician. After this course, I am planning to do the T-Level in Computing here and then progress onto a Level 4 qualification before starting a job at my uncle’s business or another IT support company.

I would say to anyone considering studying this course to go for it. If you have a passion for IT, don’t let anyone stop you.”
