19 May 2026
We’ve put together a list of the five most useful things you’ll be able to do during your visit at our Adult Open Day.

Our Adult Open Day is designed to help you explore your options in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Not sure what to expect? Here are four things you’ll be able to do when you visit:

1. Meet the experts who teach the courses

You’ll have the chance to speak directly with course tutors and staff. Ask questions, find out what each course involves, and get advice on which programme might be the best fit for your goals.

2. Get personalised advice on courses and careers

Not sure where to start? Our friendly team will be on hand to help you find a learning pathway that matches your personal or professional ambitions – whether that’s upskilling, starting something new, or working toward university or employment.

Our College Services team will be available to walk you through the options for funding your studies. From free courses for eligible learners, to payment plans and government-funded programmes, we’ll help you understand what’s available and how to apply.

4. Discover the support available for adult learners

At EKC Dover College, we know adult learners have unique needs. Whether you’re juggling work, childcare, or just adjusting to being back in education, we’ll talk you through the support available to help you succeed, from flexible learning options to wellbeing services.
