Course overview


Equip yourself with the cutting-edge skills, knowledge and industry
experience needed to start your journey in a range of technical support
roles.


During the two-year programme, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed
to build a career in the computing industry. You will also complete an exciting
45-day work placement with a local employer.


T Levels are designed for students aged 16-19 and are equivalent to
three A levels.

Course information


This course provides modern knowledge and experience in digital support,
network infrastructure, and cyber security.


In Year One, you study units covering a general understanding of digital
infrastructure such as:



  • Impact of technology on businesses

  • Data management security

  • Digital environments

  • Testing software, hardware and data

  • Fault analysis and problem resolution

  • Planning digital projects

In Year Two, you will study the occupational specialism of Digital Support,
looking at installation, setup and configuration of hardware and software.


In your work experience, you will develop transferrable technical and
practical skills based on the knowledge gained in College. This gives you
opportunity to use your skills in a realistic working environment and to develop
essential soft skills such as teamwork, persistence and
communication.
