Our mission is to play a leading role for East Kent in developing the economic and social prosperity of the diverse communities we serve.
Christina Dundon
Christina started in FE in 2010, initially supporting students within Supported Learning to gain real life experiences within the workplace. After this Christina spent time working away from FE to support NEET students to get back in to school, college or alternative provisions.
In 2015 Christina started at EKC Dover College as the Head of ALS. Since starting the provision has grown to include Learning Support Practitioners, Dyslexia tutor and the student progression mentors. This team provides a holistic approach to supporting all students and creating opportunities for all no matter the health or learning difficulty.
Christina is passionate about creating students’ independence and giving them the tools they need to become not only independent learners but be able to manage in the wider environment. Christina works with curriculum areas to ensure the right support is given to all students based on their abilities and needs.
In her spare time Christina spends time with family and enjoys going on days out and trips away both in the UK and abroad.
