Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

You will be assessed through direct observation in the workplace, an e-portfolio of evidence, written assignments and tasks.

Upon successful completion of the course, you can progress onto further study in early years and child care, or an Apprenticeship. You can also begin your career in an entry level job in the sector such as a nursery practitioner, classroom assistant or pre-school practitioner.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

During your course, you will complete a work experience placement in an early years setting. Work Experience opportunities are supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find opportunities that are right for you. These will give you key experiences ready for your future.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.

A place on the course is subject to an interview and a DBS check.
