On Wednesday 18 June, students took a well-deserved break as the we hosted our end-of-year Student Celebration Day.
Organised by Summer, our Student Experience Officer, and the Students’ Union led by Rowven Sanyangore, the event brought a mix of music, food, and fun activities to the heart of the College.

There was plenty to get involved in, with students getting competitive in the sumo suits, making the most of the bouncy castle, and snapping photos with friends at the Polaroid photo station.
Deckchairs and hay bales offered a perfect spot to relax, as staff served up a sizzling BBQ alongside sweet treats, popcorn, and the ever-popular ice cream van. Face and body art from Summer Faces, along with henna tattoos, added a creative touch and complimented the festival vibes of the afternoon.

Thank you to our visiting guests who soaked up the sun with us, including representatives from Artswork, and popular Dover Drag Dad, Poppy Love. And special mention must go to Youtuber Aaron Crascall who popped by to perform a fantastic DJ set.

The event was a perfect send-off to the academic year, giving all of our staff and students a chance to celebrate together. With smiles all round, the afternoon was a success. Thank you to Summer, Rowven and his team for their hard work behind the scenes, making the afternoon one to remember.
